Originally, I thought I might use modern or general subjects for the stickers and make them in the style of the 60's. I didn't love the direction that was headed towards, so I decided to create a milkshake, comic book woman, and some word art.
This was the first draft of my stickers. I talked to some fellow designers and got feedback on how to make the milkshake drips and explosion look more realistic. I implemented the changes they suggested which resulted in a much more polished final project.
This was my final product. I made it more clear I intentionally put the milkshake upside down, tidied up the explosion, and changed the meaning of the woman. I believe these changes drove me to better achieving my objective. The colors I chose established a 50's vibe. The cartoonish style also contributed to this. I think a fan of this decade would enjoy these stickers.
